In addition to this Privacy Policy, we provide data and privacy information embedded in our App and certain features that ask to use your personal data or device permissions. This product-specific information is shown when you create an account, enable optional permissions, or use features such as walking challenges, store locator, notifications, or profile photo upload.

What Is Personal Data at Groundup Society?
At Groundup Society, we believe strongly in being transparent about how we collect and use your data. This section describes personal data in the context of our membership app and services.
Personal data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. This includes information you provide directly, information generated through your membership activity, and information collected from your device when you grant permission for optional features.
Examples of personal data we process include your name, email address, mobile number, birthday, account identifiers, reward and order history, referral activity, optional health step data, optional location data, profile photo, and device push notification tokens.
Your Privacy Rights at Groundup Society
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to receive a portable copy of your data.
You can update much of your account information directly in the App. For other requests, contact tam@onemotionmanagement.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request and will respond within the time required by applicable law.

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. You can manage optional device permissions, including health, location, camera, photos, and notifications, in your device settings.
Personal Data Groundup Society Collects from You
We collect personal data you provide when you register, complete your profile, place orders, redeem rewards, participate in challenges or promotions, communicate with us, or use in-store membership features.
Account and profile information
When you create a Groundup Society account, we collect your first and last name, email address, mobile number, birthday, password (stored in hashed form), marketing opt-in preference, and referral code if you provide one. You may also choose to upload a profile photo.
Membership and transaction information
We collect information about your use of membership features, including reward points, order history, coupon collections and redemptions, challenge enrollment and progress, referral activity, member QR code usage, and records of your acceptance of our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, including version and timestamp.
Communications
We collect information related to email verification during signup, password reset requests, push notifications and in-app messages, and support enquiries you send to us.
Optional device and permission-based data
With your permission, we may collect step count data from Apple Health or Health Connect for walking challenges; approximate location while using the App to show nearby stores; camera input when staff scan member QR codes or when you upload images; photo library access when you choose images to upload; and push notification tokens to deliver alerts to your device.
Personal Data Groundup Society Receives from Other Sources
We may receive limited personal data from service providers and partners that help us operate the Service.
For example, we use cloud hosting and authentication providers to operate accounts and store profile data; email delivery providers to send verification codes and account messages; and push notification infrastructure to deliver alerts to your device.
If another member uses your referral code during signup, we receive information needed to attribute the referral and apply programme rewards in accordance with our rules.
Groundup Society's Use of Personal Data
We use personal data to power the Service, provide membership benefits, and keep our platform secure. This includes:

- Processing orders, rewards, redemptions, coupons, and referrals
- Operating walking challenges and step-based promotions when you enable health permissions
- Showing nearby stores when you enable location permissions

- Detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud, abuse, and security issues

Where UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or similar laws apply, we rely on contract (to provide membership services), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), consent (for optional marketing and device permissions), and legal obligation (where we must retain or disclose information).

Groundup Society implements administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and hashed password storage.

The Groundup Society App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your country, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by law.
